Sculpture
A series of felted pieces from my Dancing Queer History project.
Wool is an appealing medium for social practice because of its familiarity and intimacy — we wear wool close to our bodies, and historically have lived side-by-side with the sheep that grow it. Wool work has historically been community work and closely connected to folk traditions.
